I like the Latin music that the Los Boleros band plays.

If you notice, most of the songs mentioned are to some degree unique. It becomes necessary to include the originality of the song among the reason's of why some sort of song my be catchy. So, what else create a song catchy or deters it's possibility to be catchy. I think a great deal of it comes down to help nurture and exposure. The music that you heard as child will form a framework for what is picked up easily. I was not exposed to Rhythm and Blues or Funk as a child, which means that maybe this impacts my own easy song recollection. Prince is an R&B/Funk master and, even though I respect all excellent talented artists, it was not my elected genre.

When i was growing up, I was exposed to songs like "King of the Road" and "Counting Flowers relating to the Wall" which had an impact on the song types that i remember easily. There is definitely an American Rock and Roll pattern as to the I find easy to consider and this comes as part of a country music exposure in my youth.

In the long run, you can find simply some aspects on the song that make them easy to remember, repetitiveness in the lyric and melody, catchy lyrics and finally, good melody. These will offer a song possibility to be memorable, the total amount as to whether a person will find a song memorable will be determined by exposure, musical imprinting (nurture) and finally, the uniqueness of the song. Imagine "Champagne Supernova" by Oasis and you should note all of the above mentioned in this song. Accordingly, unforgettable, inside my eyes at least. Providing music is well played, there will be an audience for all several types of music and different fans will remember different tunes for different reasons.

Caribbean Rhapsody from Emarcy notes features saxophone virtuoso James Carter. The recording is the culmination of a decade long collaboration relating to the jazz giant and normal composer, Robert Sierra. The music is written in a modern style, with jazz elements of improvisation combined with Latin heritage and classical genres.

Two works are showcased on the CD. The first is Roberto Sierra's Concerto with regard to Saxophones and Orchestra, recorded in Warsaw along with the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra, conducted by Giancarlo Guerrero. Fred Carter solos on soprano together with tenor saxophones. Carter calls the composition a "delicate nevertheless strong balance of written music, improvisation and your cadenzas. " Bright orchestration, syncopation together with strong accents open that concerto. A plaintive saxophone melody intervenes. Percussive effects from orchestra and tenor sax lead into some sort of atonal bluesy boogie woogie in the third movement. A free improvisation on tenor saxophone, filled with slap-tonguing, squealing and a soulful, masculine feel leads us in the title track, Caribbean Rhapsody.

The other composition, Caribbean Rhapsody, additionally composed by Sierra, can be a joyful chamber piece using alternating reflective and spirited music. It bounces from this sensuous opening bolero to help Latin riffs to new music he heard on jukeboxes from cafes he frequented within Puerto Rico. Sierra wrote the piece for a musical reunion for saxophonist Billings and his cousin, violinist, Regina Carter. The juxtaposition of saxophone together with violin, viola, cello and bass can be a refreshingly new hybrid associated with musical elements.
